Ease of Use

The client portal allows clients to easily manage their appointments and follow-up care through scheduling and telemedicine. You can enable the Portal for a specific patient by selecting the Patient Portal tab in the patient record and checking the Allow Web Access to Portal checkbox. You can also enable a patient to reset their password when they log in to the Portal using this same process.

To control Portal access by legal age, you can set a nightly job that disables the responsible party and patient contact access to the Patient Portal for all patients who reach the legal age of consent in your state. You can also enable the Portal to display a patient’s immunizations by verifying an existing Complete Chart Print Definition or creating one specifically for use on the Patient Portal.

E-Prescribing

Aprima EMR e-prescribing lets providers send prescriptions directly to pharmacies from the patient’s chart. This saves up to 3 minutes per visit and also helps eliminate errors. The software is easy to use and has built-in e-prescribing templates that help clinicians make sure they’re following proper guidelines.

The software uses a unique replication technology that allows doctors to work anywhere, even without a network connection. It allows clinicians to work on a tablet PC, a smartphone or the Aprima To Go mobile app. The application automatically synchronizes when connectivity is restored.
